| Software Licenses For Teaching Purposes |

Thanks to their didactic side, we are convinced that the use of our software can enormously enrich the course by training of the students. Many of them will be brought to use these tools in their professional career and a good control of these software constitutes for them an undeniable asset on the labor market. It is also noted that a person trained on a software of simulation is very quickly operational on any similar tool .
The role of the professor is also facilitated. The lecture on thermodynamics, unit operations such as distillation, heat transfer or chemical reaction, or more generally process design, whatever its nature, is enriched by the use of powerful supports which enable the visualization of the various phenomena and facilitate the understanding of major concepts.
In this license of software for teaching purposes agreement, the university is in particular committed to use the software solely for teaching its regular students and agrees not to undertake any research, study, or consulting service for third parties using the software, even if this is free of charge.
The table below indicates the software covered by the license for teaching purposes agreement and the corresponding financial conditions.
A license corresponds to a license installed locally on a PC or an access to a license installed on a server.
The "class" license is a license which is installed on a server and which allows up to 60 simultaneous accesses to the software by the students of the classroom.

To register, it is necessary to establish an “Agreement” between ProSim and your university. This agreement specifies the conditions of use of our software as well as the obligations of the parties. Two types of Software License Agreements are available.
Please choose between the Renewable annual license and the Long-term license agreement, download the corresponding MS-Excel file and fill out the form, make it sign by an authorized representative of your university and return it to us by fax or postal mail.

Renewable annual license: the initial duration of the agreement is one year. This period is then tacitly renewed year by year (unless the agreement is terminated by one of the parties). The license fee is payable every year, at the beginning of the period, as long as the agreement is valid. This fee escalates at 3% per annum after the first year. |

Long-term license: The agreement runs over several years. The duration is chosen at the beginning with a number of years set between 2 and 12 years. The license will expire at the end of this period. The license fee requested is payable only once, in advance for the full period. |
