The financial situation of ProSim is very sound and its credit worthiness is good as the rating given by the various financial information providers testify.
To reach its ambitions, the strategy of the management team always privileged the long term view by building durable relationships with its customers and by maintaining a rigorous management. Since its creation in 1989, the sales turnover of the company constantly increased. This development tends to accelerate these last years. In 2005, the company carried out a progression of more than 35% of its sales. This very appreciable increase in the activity was done without penalizing profitability since over the same period, the net income more than doubled.
This mode of management which relies on duration enables the company to exhibit today a solid balance sheet, insuring permanence of the company. Since 2001, all the fiscal years of the company were showing a profit (net income after taxes). The net assets of the company are much higher than the amount of its share capital.
The liquid assets of the company are high and the debt remains very low. At the end of the last financial year the debts and loans from the credit institutions were lower than 5% of the stockholders' equity.
ProSim has the means necessary to its growth.
The management of the company was always described “as honest and sincere” by the auditors of the company (KPMG SA). In the same way, the annual statements, benches in accordance with the rules and principles applicable in France systematically gave a faithful image of the results of the operations as well as financial and patrimonial position of the company (see last auditors' certificate).
On its side the French tax authorities which recently carried out a very detailed audit also confirmed the clarity of the accounts of the company (see letter DGI).
The confidence of the customers is good. It is noted today that major actors of the field of oil or chemicals give up the concurrent software to choose the ProSim solutions. To reinforce this tendency great efforts continue to be realized in order to increase the notoriety of the company while investing in marketing and commercial development.
In parallel, the very important investments carried out in Research and Development these last years, allow a very good positioning of the products on the market. This investment in R & D will be maintained during years to come, in order to consolidate the technological advance of the products of the company, in particular to have a fully components based software architecture and to reinforce the position of the company on the oil, gas and energy markets.
All these elements make it possible ProSim to consider the future with optimism.
