ProSim releases a new version of Ariane, its unique software dedicated to the design and optimization of energy power plants.
Energy production networks of industrial plants and energy resellers pricing policies have reached such a level of sophistication and of complexity that organizing these power plants requires a highly structured and versatile calculation system. Furthermore, optimization from simplified models often leads to already implemented practices or to calculation in unrealistic or in restricted operating ranges. Ariane can be used for studies but also "on-line", connected to the network control system, to determine the operating parameters that will satisfy all the plant energy requirements at the lowest energy cost. Depending on the plant, expected savings reach several percent of the total energy bill.
Ariane is a powerful and reliable solution that is also used by many companies to evaluate the ROI of a single equipment or of an entire plant or to evaluate cogeneration agreements economic viability and performances.
The new version of the software includes additional functionalities for the identification and the management of toxic emissions. New features enable the user to:
- identify the composition of fumes, in particular the pollutant concentration (NOx, SOx, CO, dust),
- gather sources of emissions within theoretical flues to comply to industry regulations,
- evaluate output levels of emissions and restrict these levels.
The calculation package was also improved to enhance the modelisation of fuel networks and to fully define the composition of fuel mixture. Furthermore, the user can now set constraints on a given compound concentration. Lastly the interface was improved to facilitate the data input.
Ariane now responds even more closely to industry requirements for efficient and versatile tools to face external constraints and market challenges.
