| - ProSim runs a Short Course at the 2008 AIChE Spring Meeting |
January 15, 2008 |
 |
At the next AIChE Spring meeting, ProSim will run a Spring Meeting Short Course called "Applied Thermodynamics for Chemical Engineers in MS Excel using Simulis Thermodynamics".
This hands-on short course is designed for persons involved in the calculation of thermodynamic properties (enthalpy, entropy, viscosity, thermal conductivity...) or in phase equilibrium calculation.
The objective is to provide practical insight on some of the property models commonly used in the chemical industry. Examples and case studies, using Simulis Thermodynamics in MS Excel, will enable attendees to approach rigorous methodology to set up calculation spreadsheet, test different property models and compare their results.
As the course will be presented by one of ProSim's expert in Thermodynamics it is a great opportunity to have your questions answered.
A demo version of Simulis Thermodynamics will be provided and attendees should bring they laptop in order to do the exercises during the course.
The Sunday Short Course is held on Sunday April 6th. Registration is handled by the AIChE at the following web page: AIChE Spring Meeting web site
ProSim is also Silver Sponsor of the event and holds a booth during the exhibition. Please visit us at Booth 1216 or send us an e-mail to set up a meeting: info@prosim.net.
