ProSim PDR is an open and flexible data management system that privileges flexibility in use. Thanks to the XML technology, a ProSim PDR base can handle many recordings even if their structure differ completely. Furthermore, the architecture adopted does not anticipate the intended application of the data. As a consequence, ProSim PDR can be used to manage data relating to processes, but it can also be applied to any other domain, such as people management, stock management ProSim PDR is an «object oriented» DBMS. It was developed on the "object oriented programming" (OOP) technology that includes inheritance and polymorphism concepts.
