Thanks to advanced CAPE-OPEN compliance, the use of thermodynamic packages and unit operations from other providers is easy. In this video, we will show you how two software, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.prosim.net\/en\/produit\/prosimplus\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">ProSimPlus<\/a> and HTRI Xchanger Suite\u00ae (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.htri.net\/htri-xchanger-suite.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">https:\/\/www.htri.net\/htri-xchanger-suite.aspx<\/a>) can communicate and be used together.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Three shell and tubes heat exchangers (Xist models) are set up in a ProSimPlus flowsheet, with material recycles between the heat exchangers. The video shows how the configuration of HTRI Unit Operations is identical to the configuration accessed by an end-user with the standalone Xist software. So an end-user remains in a familiar environment all along. Being able to use HTRI software within ProSimPlus gives access to the conditions of each stream in the flowsheet within one single calculation. The video shows how the conditions of each stream may be accessed.<\/p>\n<p>There is no need for any coding for the users, interfacing being fully managed by the CAPE-OPEN interfaces implemented in both ProSimPlus and HTRI Xchanger Suite\u00ae. You just need to have both software installed and the corresponding licenses. With ProSimPlus, an end-user may easily use third-party software<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>ProSim is supportive of CAPE-OPEN since its origins.
